In the EU, creatine carries the approved claim that it increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, at a daily intake of 3 g. Those three grams are the legal threshold for that claim, not a dosing recommendation. We advise five grams a day, which is the usual maintenance dose. We make no other health claims, because they are not permitted.
